About K-PIC Systems
K-PIC Systems is an Edmonton based AI, technology, project management and education company led by Kristian Bainey.
K-PIC Systems is an Edmonton based AI, technology, project management and education company led by Kristian Bainey. The company works across public, private and academic sectors to support AI adoption, digital transformation, project delivery, professional education, analytics and responsible technology implementation.
K-PIC Systems combines technical understanding with project management, change management, business analysis and organizational leadership. The focus is practical application. Every engagement should connect technology decisions with business objectives, people, governance, implementation and measurable results.
Who We Serve
Public sector
Government departments and public agencies modernizing services, data practices and project delivery.
Private sector
Organizations adopting artificial intelligence within operations, technology programmes and customer facing work.
Academic institutions
Colleges and universities building AI capability into curriculum, instruction and professional programmes.
Professional communities
Associations and professional bodies seeking practical education on AI and project delivery.
What We Do
Six service areas cover strategy through implementation, governance and education. Conversational assistants and chatbots appear as one capability inside AI implementation work rather than as a standalone offering.

Our Approach
- Step 1
Understand the objective
Every engagement begins with the business outcome, not the technology. We define what success looks like and how it will be measured.
- Step 2
Assess readiness
We review data, process, governance, skills and technology so recommendations reflect the organization's actual starting point.
- Step 3
Implement deliberately
Work is delivered through project management and change management practice so adoption is planned, not assumed.
- Step 4
Measure and transfer
We build internal capability through training and documentation so the organization can sustain the work.
